Tourists in Action

Just like us, Victorian tourists wanted to remember what they did on their holidays, as well as the famous sites they had seen. All of these photographs show Victorian tourists in action: travelling, boating, having tea, and generally enjoying themselves. Our own holiday photographs might look similar—except, perhaps, for the horse-drawn carriages.
